CONGRATULATIONS MAYOR EARNELL BROWN

Greetings Mates,

I ask that you join me in congratulating one of our own for joining the lofty ranks of the notables. After waging a successful campaign in the general election, Earnell was sworn-in as mayor of Hertford, NC., after winning a margin of victory over 60%. What's interesting about this sterling achievement, is that Earnell is a native of Washington, DC.  She chose to go to Hertford, the home of her mother, to set matters straight, to make a difference, to provide hope and uplift to the citizens of Hertford.

Earnell retired from a successful career with the federal government and has sailed with the BBS. She is a published author of "I've Been Where I'm Going", a poet, and a creative visionary.  Amen.
